AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL SNEADA MEMBERS:
   Dear Friends,
As you all know, October marks our annual meeting, and it will be important for several reasons.  Our program chairman, Bob Anderson, has arranged to have Mr. Edward Theberge to be our guest speaker.  Not only is Mr. Theberge the formost authority on the history of the Narragansett Brewing Company, he is a serious collector and dealer of breweriana.  His talk should be interesting on several fronts.
Also at this meeting, the nominating committee will be presenting two candidates, Jan Wright and Gayl Spodaryk, to be elected to the board of directors.  Nominations will also be made from the floor for the election of a new president.
I urge all members, old as well as new, to attend this meeting.  Its importance can not be understated.  We need everyone to become involved.  We are indeed fortunate to have a core group of dedicated and hard working individuals, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.  However, too much work of the organization is being conducted by too few people.  Please consider this—what you get out of this organization is what you are willing to put into it.
I hope to see you all in October.
                                                Sincerely,

Richard Siembab, Vice President and Acting President
