PROGRAM - This interactive museum presents the compelling and touching story of immigrants who came to find a better life in the mill towns along the Blackstone River . Enter the museum across the threshold of a farmhouse to experience life in rural 19 th century Quebec . From there, you cross the border into the United States and begin a journey through the workday world of Woonsocket 's residents and immigrant arrivals. The exhibits also recreate their life at home, at church, at school, and presents the unique Woonsocket labor story of the rise of the Independent Textile Union, which grew to dominate every aspect of city life.

From interstate 95 south, exit onto interstate 295 south, to route 146 north
From interstate 95 north, exit onto route 146 north
From all directions on 146, take route 104 exit, follow 104 north to South Main Street . Take right onto South Main Street and follow for ½ mile. The museum will be on your right with free additional parking across the street. Telephone for Museum: 401-769-9675

HOLIDAY SHOW - Plans for the upcoming Holiday Show at the Crowne Plaza are moving along smoothly. This year's event will be held on Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26. Friday night will feature Early Buyers' Hours from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This feature will include refreshments for buyers with the availability of a cash bar. The cost will be $12 with discount admission of 2 for $20. General admission times will be Friday night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and all day Saturday at a cost of $5 (discount $4.50) per admission.

SNEADA FUN NIGHT
SNEADA social evening, no biz. Come and join us for a fun evening on Friday, December 2 and see Charlie Hall's OCEAN STATE FOLLIES, at Chelo's Restaurant, Post Road , Warwick , (near airport.) This will be at your own risk and cost. Any of you who have attended Charlie Hall's Follies know it to be a fun evening out. This year some of the things he will be touching on are Sen. Linc. Chaffee; Donald Trump; and the 12 RI Days of Christmas. Ticket price is $37.50 and reservations must be made by November 15.
