MEETING - (Note new start time)

PROGRAM - We hope you'll all join us for a terrific evening as we explore yet another Rhode Island historical gem. The RI Historical Society's Museum of Work and Culture in Woonsocket is an interactive museum that tells the story of the French Canadians who came to the factories of Rhode Island and New England, through historical artifacts, walk-through settings, and
multimedia presentations. We'll get an introduction to the museum before we set off to explore it on our own. Then, we'll convene in the 1934-era Union Hall for our meeting. Special refreshments will be served.

Directions: From Providence: Take Rte. 146 North (avoid Rte. 99, 122, and 146A.) Take Rte. 104 exit (Downtown Woonsocket.) Left off exit, straight for 1.5 miles, right onto South Main Street. The museum is located less than a mile on your right-hand side.

MEETING AGENDA ITEM: VOTE ON PROPOSED BY-LAWS AMENDMENT - At this meeting we will vote on a proposal to omit the By-law pertaining to selection of a Dealer of the Year.

NEW MEETING TIMES - After input from members, we will be CHANGING OUR MEETING TIME FROM 7:30 P.M. TO 7 P.M. We hope this will be convenient for everyone and get folks home a bit earlier.

WEB SITE HELP NEEDED - We're looking for someone to help maintain the website and keep the information up-to-date, particularly someone with technical experience in working on websites. Please contact Diane Dolphin D_Dolphin@att.net if you might be interested.

YEAR-END POT LUCK - Our June meeting will be our year-end potluck dinner, and we will let you know about it once we have a date and place. In continuing the long tradition (well, begun last year) we will honor 25-year members and hope to encourage them to regale us with stories of "way back then."
