Freetown Historical Society Museum

PROGRAM - Our annual June potluck meeting
will be held at the Freetown Historical Society Museum in Freetown,
Massachusetts. SNEADA will be taking a look at our roots.
The program will feature a tour of the museum and the presentation
of a Lifetime Membership to Mr. Robert Mower who is a founding
member of SNEADA. Additionally, there will be special recognition
of all memberships over twenty-five years.
Directions: The museum is located on 1 Slab Bridge
Road in Freetown, Massachusetts (near Assonet Village.)
From Route 24 (northbound) Exit 9, right on South
Main to Four-Corners, right on Elm Street for half mile
From Route 24 (southbound) Exit 10, left on North
Main Street to Four Corners, left on Elm Street for half mile
From Route 140 take Chace road toward Assonet for
about 3 miles, right on Slab Bridge Road for another 3 miles.
(The museum is located at the Elm Street-Slab Bridge Road railroad
crossing.)
