Here is an oill painting on canvas board signed by Edith Bowen. I'm afraid my picture isn't doing it justice. It is very well done, depicting a New England village and church. We beiieve Edith Bowen was local to northern R.I. We puirchased this piece as part of a local ( Scituate ) estate purchase. That was several years ago and we've kept in our house since. The canvas board was purchased at an art supply store in Pawtucket that has been out of business for years. It measures 12"x16" and is not framed.
